Mitochondrial DNA Variation and Its Phenotypic Implications: Insights from the Taiwan Biobank Datase
粒線體 DNA 變異及其表型影響:來自台灣生物資料庫的見解

This study investigates the impact of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) variation on phenotypic traits using data from the Taiwan Biobank. We analyzed the mtDNA sequences of thousands of participants and identified multiple variations associated with health status, disease risk, and metabolic traits. The results reveal significant correlations between mtDNA variations and various phenotypic characteristics, particularly in relation to metabolic diseases and cardiovascular health. Our findings underscore the potential value of mitochondrial genetics in personalized medicine and disease risk assessment, providing important insights for future genetic research.
