Conversation Training Therapy
會話訓練療法
Conversation Training Therapy is a novel “in the moment” approach to voice therapy. CTT is the first voice therapy program to remove the therapeutic hierarchy and uses patient-driven conversation as the main stimuli of therapy. CTT guides the patient in sensory discrimination of different voices and speaking patterns while conversing. CTT is based in motor learning theory. The following peer-reviewed research articles introduce the conceptional, theoretical, and practical foundations of CTT as well as auditory-perceptual, acoustic measures, phonatory aerodynamic measures, and reported outcome measures (Gartner-Schmidt et al., 2016, Gillespie et al., 2019, Gartner-Schmidt & Gillespie, 2021, Shelly et al., 2023, Van Stan et al., 2024).
