Revolutionizing Type 2 Diabetes: Trailblazing Real-World Oral GLP-1 Experience and Clinical Management

Professor Hara will leverage his expertise in diabetes management to underscore the critical importance of early therapy intensification and weight management, drawing on real-world evidence. Additionally, he will share findings from a single-center retrospective observational study on oral semaglutide in type 2 diabetes mellitus and its effect on cardiometabolic parameters at the Jichi Medical University Saitama Medical Center. Moreover, his presentation will encompass an exploration of TPRM2, an explanation of the characteristics of Asians’ polymorphism of GLP-1R in relation to diabetes treatment, and a presentation of clinical cases, focusing on the elderly, offering valuable insights into the application of early incretin therapy.
