At the conclusion of this lecture, the attendant will understand commonly encountered challenges in the echocardiographic qualitative and quantitative techniques for evaluating tricuspid valve regurgitation. Both conventional 2D and more novel 3D echocardiographic approaches will be reviewed along with pitfalls and controversies encountered for each technique.
